It is easier to browse, to share and to comment in youtube. It is also easier to download the mix from youtube. Most people don't know how to download mp3 from soundcloud.

I could see that. Hosting videos and MP3s is expensive though. Hence why we don't do it. I couldn't make enough money to offset the cost.
You can't download from soundcloud, but you can listen spotify style. I way prefer it because it takes no space and the music producers can still get credit for their mixes. I see this taking more off as people grow to understand it better. If cheer file had an app to do that I think that would be great.

Actually you can! It was posted in a NCA college thread (I think) because someone wanted Louisville's music. It's not directly from soundcloud, (it's a YouTube to mp3 type website but for soundcloud) but I can be done
