So I was put back in physical therapy for my back because I was having cramps in my feet and sometimes herniated discs cause that... Well I went on thursday and my physical therapist thought it was weird that I was hurting in a different spot than I was and the place my foot was cramping wasnt associated with my back... Well apperently its a problem with my hip flexors from only stretching one leg. My right is flexible and moves with my leg and my left doesn't move. At all. Like I've been trying to stretch my left leg for over a year and that explains why I havent gotten any more flexible! So yay! It can be fixed too! But even when I lay on a flat surface my hips are really uneven. The left is really high off the table and the right is low. Idk its hard to explain but I'm glad its not my discs! And for my back pain, my spine is unstable in the middle so I have to wear a brace for awhile.

Oh and I'm basing now! Probably not the best for my back but if I wouldn't have based we would only have 2 stunt groups out of 16 girls... It feels so good to actually do something though! I really need to start getting on here more... I miss you guys :(

I feel like absolute road kill. Rough night to say the least. My boyfriend and I are having issues with our relationship. Anyone have any ideas to spark a relationship back up?

Rotated pelvis! I have one too!

Try a fun and exciting date! Go rock climbing, or do something that involves trusting each other! Something new and innovative.

I'm convinced this is why people turn to selling drugs. Sounds mighty convincing right about now.
lol, this may be the funniest thing i have heard today.

and i feel you on the job front, i need a new job desperately. i have a job at a theme park but i honestly hate it so much. the pay is awful, the 'guests' are constantly screaming at me about how awful the park is. the supervisors never do their job, and they leave the rehires (me) to train ALL of the new staff while they drive around in the company car getting swiss chalet and mcdons. AGH lol

Ughh omg. Lol I worked at Six Flags last year in August. It had to be the worst job ever. Like I won't even go into details.

Just curious what everyone's take is on this: should Open teams be forced to buy brand new uniforms to fit in with the rest of the program?

It's an Open 4 team, only competes at a few competitions, mostly just to get us old people cheering again. Anyways, they want us to buy the same uniforms as the rest of the program which are around $350 because they believe in unity. Level 5 teams wear their own but other than that it's a program uniform. We suggested maybe doing a simpler uniform that's a little less expensive or wearing the old uniforms of the program but keep saying we need to buy brand new. Most of us don't even know how many seasons of cheerleading we will continue to do so it's frustrating to throw that kind of money down. So I'm just kind of curious what people think.

Our gym's open team (level 6) wore the same uniform as all the half year teams. It was a sublimated tank top and matching Nike-pro type shorts in our gym colors (they actually coordinated with the full year teams' new warmups) and I think cost each athlete around $100.

NO. We were trying to do an Open 4 with cheaper uniforms (like $100), until competitions put out their pricing. Free last year, $250 a pop this year? BYE. I'm tired of making EPs richer in this sport.

Anyways, that's silly. You can get decent cheap uniforms and still have unity within the gym.

My open 6 team bought the $250 uniforms this past season to match the rest of the gym. We wound up going to only 5 competitions. I wish they had been cheaper... but our team only cost $40 a month so I guess that was cutting the cost somehow. it's still mind boggling to me how expensive all star cheer is as a whole... plus all that money for tuition and uniforms and practice wear and shoes and warmups and bows on top of that the hotel and travel costs. I'm really lucky my parents paid. There's no way I would've been paying for that myself. I think money is a huge factor in why there are so few open teams.

ME. TOO. And the whole selling drugs things sounds a lot more appealing because I recently started watching Weeds on Netflix and I'm addicted. But this whole finding a job thing is such a pain and so frustrating.
