I used to call it pop and when i moved to Florida I got so confused

I call it pop or soda here, but when I went to visit my relatives in Arkansas they asked me if I wanted a coke and I said yes please and then they said what kind.. Haha I was so confused!

If you come to Maryland you MUST get a snowball. It's similar to a snow cone but the ice is shaved thinner and there are more flavors to choose from. You can get marshmallow, chocolate or caramel drilled on top. My favorite is strawberry with marshmallow. Mmmm.

In Canada we have a bunch of food that I just couldn't live without:
First of all...BeaverTails! They're a fried dough stretched into the shape of a beaver tail and you can top it with whatever you like. I personally enjoy plain old icing sugar and strawberries but I've also heard that nutella and banana is good too. They're out of food trucks and I see them around the GTA a lot but the one in Ottawa is the original.
Another good place is St. Huberts, It's like Swiss Chalet but 10000x better. Their rotisserie chicken dipped in their special gravy is like nothing else, but I've only ever seen them in Quebec. Luckily they sell their gravy base in grocery stores so I can have it at home!
aannnndddd last but not least the holy grail of coffee: Tim Hortons. Their french vanilla's and iced cap's are amazing and so is their apple fritter! Also they have roll up the rim to win in march...that contest is probably more Canadian than hockey.

1. I think kids in Charlotte would starve to death without Chick-fil-a, Bojangles, and Panera.
2. When y'all say "gravy" do you mean the stuff you put on mash potatoes or some other sauce? Different areas mean different things. Here's it's the brown/beige stuff; well at least for us southerners.
3. People who say "Coke" have lived here their whole life. "Soda" or "pop" are the yankees that started coming in about 10 years ago.

In WI it's the stuff you put on mashed potatoes! I had no idea it meant other stuff in different areas.

Being from NJ, I've never even been to Chick-fil-a. I feel as if I'm living under a rock. I hope I can try it so that I can see what the fuss is about!
