Have you been to oberweis since you've lived in Chicago? They have chocolate cokes. I never tried them but I used to work at an Oberweis and there were a few people who came in for them all the time.

Well I had never heard of it until now so I just googled it. Um...I think peanut butter chocolate waffle bowl thing might be in my future... (I can try to squeeze in a choc coke too, but YUM on everything there)

In Maine everyone and their mother drinks Alan's Coffee Brandy. It's only sold in NH, Vermont, Maine area. If you're over 21 and go up here you gotta try it out it's very popular. Also the whoopie pies in Maine are yummmmmy, lobster of course and fresh blueberries. A little chinese restaurant in my town makes the BEST crab rangoons I've ever tasted. So happy that it's in my town haha.

There is a new burger joint in a city near me called 5 Guys is this a common thing everywhere? I've never heard of it till they came to Bangor. Anyway, if you love spicy try the cajun fries.
lol , yes 5 Guys is a common thing

Oh, also, now that I'll be moving down to North Carolina in a little less than 2 months here's a question for all of you North Carolina residents...

What on EARTH is Cookout? I see people talking about it all of the time but I have no idea what to compare it to.

We have ketchup chips here...though they are hard to find. I love them.

I'm from Maryland, but it's like a get together where you cookout , lol, like eat, play, talk. That kind of stuff.

Do you mean the restaurant?
The restaurant has burgers, fries, amazing tea, and milkshakes.

Now "A Cookout" is like a barbecue I guess? You cook out food with people

I really wish I could think of some good regional foods from the New England area. But there really are none except the seafood that people mentioned before.

ETA except I really don't think people understand there is a distinct difference between Dunkin Donuts in New England and outside of New England. People here are VERY possessive of their Dunkins.. it's kind of like a really weird obsession/addiction.

Literally what I've been thinking throughout this whole thread. My town is super small, but we have 8 Dunkins. Two of which are approximately 30 seconds from each other. Ridiculous (although I can't say I hate it..)

Also, they recently put in a Bahama Breeze near me, and for the 21+ crowd... HOLY DELICIOUS DRINKS!!! If you go you have to order a Bahamarita, guarantee you won't be sorry!
