Im 11 years old and im 5,2 but im really skinny foe my height im also the most flexible on my team our best flyer is really afraid to do stuff also. Do you think i could be a flyer

Ok, no one is trying to be rude but I swear there has been a post about this everyday for the last week. If you look you will see them!

Furthermore anyone can be a flyer, it depends on the bases you have under you. If your bases are big enough to hold you up then sure.

Take it from a mom of a kid who is a flyer and would love nothing more then being big enough to base! Both of these are great, flying isn't better then basing and vice versa. You can be a ok flyer and have amazing bases and you can be a great flyer and have bad bases. It's how y'all work together that can determine how good a stunt it is. So yes you can fly but its not the end of the world if you don't!

We have flyers on our team that are really tall, or really dense and muscular. I guess it all depends on how hard you work, and how tight you are in the air. I could be as flexible as gabi butler, but if I cant stay tight in the air, my coach would not let me fly.

My daughter is your age and about your size. She is a flyer on her senior team and a backspot on her junior team. ALL she wanted to do was be a flyer, which is why I let her crossover to the senior team. Ironically though, she has found that flying is a lot of work and she feels a lot of pressure in the position. She is much more comfortable, at least right now, in her backspot role, and takes a lot of pride in being the one to keep her flyers from hitting the ground. I hope you get the chance (and don't be afraid to let your coach know that you're interested in trying it if it's possible) but it may not end up being as great as you thought it would be after all!
