I'm shocked..teams announced but no dates and the venue is still up in the air? :p @DJ do you have dates?
 
I checked Amtrak earlier this week...$110 roundtrip and about a 6 hour train ride. Not too shabby!

Does anyone else feel like its strange that they picked teams before the season started? Why not wait and see how teams do at each competition because there could be some new Level 5 team that comes out and dominates everything that's NOT in the League that should be. I guess I'm just one of those people that likes to see a team prove their worth before being named "elite." Not saying these teams aren't elite or anything because they all have been. I'm just saying I think teams need to prove their worth, and then teams can be selected.

I don't find it out of strange since seems to be based on history.

February is typically when teams start coming into their own. Also schedules would make that IMPOSSIBLE. You have to pay for events before you attend. Not to mention flights etc. Not a bad idea just logistically not possible.

True, so then make it based on a point system. Points being determined on size and level of difficulty of a competition attended.Teams register with CL to be eligible and get points, and you get points based on your placement at each. After NCA, select teams will be the only teams allowed to still compete for points. Then use Worlds as the last point giving event of the season. Of course that would make the CL so late in the season. But hey, it's a good idea in my head....
