OT How Long Would Your Commute Be To Closest Big Gym?

From home...
30 minutes to Cheergyms.com (Petaluma)
2.5 hours to POWER
2.5 hours to NorCal Elite
3 hours (roughly) to CA Livermore

But if I wanted to go to a gym with a good shot at Worlds, I'd have to head down to Southern California to whichever PCM or Cali gym that houses their international teams, which is at least 6/7 hours away.

I'm old, so i won't be traveling anywhere, but i'll play

from Sept - May, I can get to WC in 20 minutes. in the summer it's about 45ish :cheering: yay beach traffic.
Spirit Explosion is about an hour and a half
South Jersey Storm hour and 45 min
CJA 1 hour without traffic, so about an hour and a half
Maryland Twisters 3 hours

From our current house 2 hours or a little more to CEA Kville. But we are moving, yay, so 45 min probably. I can't imagine being half an hour from stingrays. My daughter would drive me nuts.

SOT (Arlington)- 2 hours, 15 minutes
Woodlands Elite- 4 Hours
Without traffic, but this is DFW and Houston I'm talking about!

My daughter begs me to look for a job there so she can go to stingrays. It sounds great but unfortunately not realistic, atleast right now. :confused:

*** I have complete faith in coaches at our gym, in my just a cheer mom's opinion they are turning out solid teams with skills, but I am getting the feeling that everyone thinks there is a big gym in like an hour or two drive, not true. I think my husband would question my sanity if I said I was going to commute CP 7 hours trip time twice a week. I guess never say never.

Traffic thru Orlando to get to Brandon would be awful, too.

I'm about an hour away from ACE Birmingham. But every athlete that I know that has gone there, returns in under a year because of the coach's teaching attitudes.

They simply didn't feel like they had any encouragement. And I can see why it would be hard to be "sugar coated" to worlds winning teams, but they didn't feel appreciated. (I've only taken some tumbling there, so I can't speak for myself, but one I knew was on large coed 5 and left shortly after joining)

Not everyone that cheers at ACE stays forever but multiple turnovers because of a coach is an issue. Can you PM me details so I can give Happy information he needs to make the business better?
