Alright, I've worked 3 8-hour days in the sun straight so here goes my tired rant... Why do parents complain and give off that negative energy to their kids? If you go have a fun day somewhere with your family, don't start off with a bad attitude. Even if you're unhappy with something.. don't let it ruin the day for your kids. It's one thing to be teaching your kids that behavior but even worse is the fact that they could be having a great day if you weren't so negative! Ugh. End. Rant.

Latest update I saw on SFO plane crash: 2 dead, 40 in critical condition, 230 injured. 291 people on plane in total (not sure if that accounted for crew) including a group of Korean school children

I saw this last night right after I saw what happened in San Francisco and couldn't believe it. It's strange that they are not entirely sure what happened to it though. I know there's a couple people from Quebec on the boards but I don't *think* they are close to where this occurred (I am really hoping so anyways)

This is seriously my biggest pet peeve. And unfortunately, my boyfriend's dad is this parent. Like if we go somewhere he has to make things so difficult and complain about everything and it makes me so mad like he can't just go with the flow or the slightest thing will tick him off and he just makes everyone around him miserable. I just hope my boyfriend doesn't get like that.

Yeah! I'm SO confused by this because I just moved to Indiana from Michigan this past few weeks..and I don't understand why I have to pay?!

I just think it's so strange. I mean it would help a loooot in other states to improve schools, I just find it odd. And my high school is waaay more than just $100 a year. I have to pay $50 just to park there for the year.

I think it's so weird that people pay to go to public schools... Something like 80% of our property tax goes to the school system and we go for 'free'. So I mean we do pay but not directly... We have to have a parking pass but I'm not sure if there's a fee attached

At my old high school it was about $180 per semester(I think more) and I pay less than that for a whole year at college.
