I may have already mentioned this, but my CP is so happy it's shorts this year, which surprised me. When I asked why she was excited she said, so the skirt won't ride up over my bubble butt and I have to keep pulling it down! LOL She is "blessed" with my rear end. Poor dear.

Maybe that's why we like shorts also! The blessed are always tugging at the skirt. I like them because I think they look more athletic.

i know this is a stupid question, but im just curious. 2012-2013 CA panthers black unis, what was the wording down the sleeve? i could never tell, unless im completely blind and its just a decorative thing.

I wish instead of the ones the got they would just get the old black ones but in white. That big panther would pop so good against it!

No cut outs, no mesh, does not require special one arm strapless bra, sparkly and athletic. Love it!!

I think every team should start transitioning to shorts/skorts. Skirts are such a pain and you can't even do a cartwheel without them riding/flipping up. Plus, doesn't pretty much EVERY athlete practice in shorts?

Seems to me like the trend is moving in that direction. Particularly as full tops become more popular (and required for the younger ones) I think we'll see lots of shorts.

I hope so! It kind of looks awkward with some uniforms looking really athletic... and then theres a skirt. Full tops look better with shorts.

I instantly thought that this is the all star offspring of University of Kentucky and I love it. So clean and pretty but functional and athletic with just the right amount of sparkle.

I love it! It reminds me of the uniform Kentucky Elite wore at worlds 2010 with that big cat on the front, that was one of my favorite uniforms.
