I wonder if Orange declined going? Cause they won worlds so I would assume they asked..

I don't think you can assume that. I believe they pick teams based off of a number of things, not limited to past performances. And orange has never been large. I assume their intentions last year were to do large senior, and aces were asked after other large teams declined.

On a separate thought, i don't think that Stingray's Level 5 teams have ever been to a Jam Brands comp? (at least not any time recently).

Also on the note of the large senior teams aligning comp schedules, i think it makes a lot of sense. What is the point in not competing against anyone all season. Yes its nice to compete with no pressure here and there, but if you want to bring your top game at worlds then it would make sense to work at it all season.

What comps will we see the major Large senior teams?:
The Majors (cea, ca, f5, wc)
Champions League (cea, ca, f5, wc, rays)
NCA (cea, ca, f5, wc, rays)
Cheersports (f5, wc, rays)
Ultimate Battle (cea, wc, f5?)
UCA (WC, rays)

Holy cow. Shooting Stars must have only like 2 smaller comps... They're going to all of these! f5 is going to all but one. That's a lot

Actually I read somewhere on Fierceboard that when Orange first started (2004?) They were first large and got 2nd place to Panthers, then next year switched to small senior. I may have gotten it mixed up what the person said, if its wrong please tell me. But thank you, it makes more sense how you put it. They have some tough competition at Worlds this year so I think they need all the practice they can get.

am i the only that took note of the two divisions so far?
senior all girl (no specific size, all sizes)
large coed (specifically says the size)
my guess and it could be completely off, is that the other division may be another coed division such as small coed, since the coed division seems to be split by size. i dont think this is that far off considering smoed and bsb both went last year and havent been announced yet with the teams that we know are for sure large coed in regular season

I was worried that the majors wouldn't be as big this year with the Champions League but they are definitely not disappointing. I'm also really excited to see what the changes to the format will be.

On another note, I feel like the final division has to be medium coed, which would make me ecstatic. They didn't specify a size for all girl so I feel like there can only be one AG division but they specified large coed and they also said there will be a new division and since they had small coed last year, i feel like it must be medium coed. Unless they decided to include international teams. It also makes sense for it to be med coed with only one gym left to be added to the banners. If they are going with 4 per division it could be Black Ops, Reign, Odyssey, and then maybe Obsession or Platinum!
