I have been paying attention to all-star cheer here and there for the past 4 years and find that I am lost a lot of time because I do not know a lot of history but also because I do not keep an eye one it as closely as I should. I am looking to get caught up so I can focus more on the world of all-star cheer.
With that in mind is there some resource I can use to get me caught up other than reading through every thread on this site since '09? Or what are some of things that I should know that will catch me up with the sport?

The main thing I noticed since '09 (which I LOVE) is the emphasis on team percentages. Rather than long tumbling sections, there are large groups displaying tumbling. Stunts are the same idea.

I haven't been keeping up with cheer since 2010 & it's MUCH easier to watch routines these days. Less individualized "picking apart" of routines and rewinding to figure out what is going on at different times.

Caught up in what way? The speculation of who we think should win Worlds, competition results, what we think a gyms uniform looks like or do you mean what are the current rules?

Can you clarify?

Yes I can clarify. I in general see this site as a way to understand the gossip in the all-star cheer world and also to keep up with current changes. So I have always found it tough to stay involved on this site because there is always something that doesn't completely make sense to me because I wasn't introduced to all-star cheer until '09. So in general I am just looking for that base knowledge of almost all of all-star cheer. After being involved on this website for 3.5 years I realize are no free handouts as far as information goes. However, I do not think it would even make sense for me to try and read all of the threads on this forum. I completely understand if no one has the time to break things down for me or if no one wants to. That's okay but where should I start in order to begin to get a good idea of the history of all-star cheer and how we got to where we are today. Just looking for a nudge in the right direction. I have a general knowledge of the rules and I know where to find those so that's not what I am looking for. I am looking for basically some background knowledge of who the teams are and who has been on top and all of the other "gossip" I guess.

I am sure I probably just made my question more confusing. I am just looking to try and get involved more on this site. Thanks

Top gun Large coed and world cup shooting stars kicked everyones a$$ 2007-2009. This is really important to know :)

And i'm fan-girlieng and want to say - loved these times and would love to see that in 2013/2014 again :)

I know, not on topic, but couldn't hold back. I'm sorry :)
