OT Cheer Dreams

I keep having recurring dreams that I started a separate division for dogs. The first time it happened I woke up thinking, "Wow, why would I need levels in my dog division? Dogs could never learn level 5 skills."

One time my dog did a full like flip trying to catch a frisbee. He didn't land it, and it was sloppy and scary to watch. Does it count as a level 5 skill?

I had a dream last night that I was teaching Stingrays the Mizzou tryout dance...

Well I just ordered 2 otterboxes a few days ago. In my dream I got 2 new otterboxes that had cheer logos on them. One was Cheer Extreme. The other was Top Gun.

ummm, That was my truth last season with the Flag rec team that I assistant coached last season We fell behind due to rain and we were frantically teaching them the end of the routine the night before the first comp/exhibition lol!

My cheer dreams are almost always nightmares, but eventually, as the season progresses it progresses to running the rountine, over and over. I used to be a stage manager, and I would have the same sort of nightmares/dreams as I called the show in my sleep.

In the early days of all stars this was the norm for many teams!! I was ON some teams that hadn't learned the whole routine and I witnessed many teams learning their dance or something in warm ups at competitions. I think about those times and it was upsetting but it was just part of the all star experience then. This was before any type of season was established though so I think that had a lot to do with it.

One time I had a dream that one of the new girls on my team came to see me at work and then she decided she didn't like her milkshake and turned into a dinosaur and threw poodles at me that were on fire? ... I can't explain that one.

My old coach used to have dreams about us going to nationals and making it to finals and walking out on the floor and just deciding not to do the routine. She had a lot of dreams about us rebelling lol

My cheer dream was that I was on an all star team and I was trying to get a triple full, really weird and well I broke my neck and was paralyzed.

My coach told us about a dream she had a few years ago where we got on the floor and everyone fell out of the first stunt so we asked the judges if we could start over.

I'm 50 years old and I STILL occasionally have the dream where it's cheerleading tryouts and I don't know the material.

That, along with the (non-cheer) one where I have to take a final in a class that I forgot to go to all semester.

So my team is performing a routine at halftime tonight and last night I had a dream that I was at a cheer comp (not with this same exact team though) and everyone kept forgetting things and it was a disaster. I'm seriously hoping that wasn't a foreshadow of how tonight's performance will go...

I had a dream that I was trying out for my colleges cheer team and the coach was completely clueless. For the tryout we had to fill out this form/questionnaire that had nothing to do about ourselves but just cheer in general, like "how many points are taken off for a fall?" And I asked the coach which score sheet she was talking about and she didn't even know there were multiple competitions and different scoresheets. It was a mess.

Lol doesn't sound too far off from their actual coach... . Are they even a cheer team anymore or do they just dance?
