I really don't mind a theme. At least they gave me something to narrow down my choices from every song out there to something a little more specifix

I've always wanted somebody to do a mix of songs from the Disney Mania albums, where they take Disney songs and have pop artists cover them. If its little ones they won't recognize the pop artists since the albums are a little old but it'd still be cute

They may not like it, but they are getting paid to provide a service/product to the coach or gym. I don't like work either but I get paid for it so I have to suck it up and do it, haha.

exactly.. im sure the coaches that pay them all that money probably dont like hearing complaints about it either..

I like that a lot of people are against themes cause that means that the few people that are brave enough to do one make it seem like a rarity that keeps it fresh.. I don't know how to word this, but like if every team in the world did a theme, it'd get boring.. but because only a select few do it every now and then, it's acceptable and sometimes actually really cute and well put together!

Our gym has done subtle themes, like one year every team danced to a throwback song, but the rest of the routine was still the average modern music.. We've never gone full out for a theme like some gyms have, and I personally wouldn't like it, but a mini/tiny/youth team would probably love it! You're right, it would get them into it more than just random top 40 hits should they still know the theme songs..

I was on an international coed team for three years of themes :banghead: lol

Themes are cute when done right, and especially cute for a younger team . I like the idea of an "when i grow up" or a disney theme!
