Now that I retread that, I don't know if it was a joke or not. But JJ's tweet I thought was a for sure thing..
Neither of them sound 100%. The point of this marathon was to gauge viewer interest and then once they look at the views/responses to the show, then they would make a decision to renew the show. I doubt they would have that kind of decision made on the same day as the marathon..

I might be in the minority here. I really want the show to come back but I would like to see a different gym each season. Ex: Top Gun Coed going through this season trying to repeat or F5 adjusting to being in a new division.

I'm with you but I also want to watch CJA! Maybe a separate show?

I don't think it's official. Not only do they need to get a lot of positive reviews from cheerleaders, but because CMT is a well known channel, they probably need a lot of their "normal" views and actual critics to give it a good review

Idk if i'm the only one, but I watched it for the second time for a few hours, and I was a little bored. And I don't think it has anything to do with CJA/Patty Ann/ the team, I just think CMT produces shows much differently, and its not all about drama. I liked this show better on lifetime.

Anywho, I do hope next season they try and do a split screen when the team performs/ the crowd/patty ann. Its kind of annoying when they perform, and the camera is set at looking at the crowd.

I would love for this show to continue. I like had she handled the "facebook drama" and how the show presented it. ON Cheer Perfection it would have been Mamas screaming in each others faces saying "my baby girl has been disrespected" but Patty Ann dealt with it quick and clean with respect to both sides and I was impressed.
I have to say I LOVED this show but at NCA Dallas I was so impressed with CJA. We had some issues with another team and a mother yelling at my 8 year old asking to sit in a "SAVED" seat until the person came back. So when we asked with CJA my 8 year old was scared but they were so nice, so friendly - my daughter said "no wonder mom there team is so nice they have nice families". So we are CJA fans. There are very few shows I let my kids watch but this one we watched as a family (okay so I DVR'd it watched it first then watched it as a family).
I very much hope this show comes back but also think seeing other gyms would be a great twist to keep it fresh. Might be cool to see teams that are going to compete against each other and how they prepare and then see them go head to head in a real comp or a "Road to the Worlds" show showing top gyms as they prepare - as long as it isn't all the mama drama

I hope it comes back! I also think it would be interesting to see different teams.... But not necessarily the big name ones. More of the ones like CJA whos goal is to break top 10 at Worlds (or 5). It's more interesting to me, no offense to the big gyms but we know they're good, and they get a lot of publicity already. This is a way for smaller/newer/breakout programs to get the spotlight for a little bit! One of the things I loved about this show was how seriously they took the smaller comps, even though they weren't "nationals" they treated them as just as important.

I think seeing a team like CJA is more relatable for many cheerleaders than is a big gym who has a greater chance of winning it all. Not that the latter is any less enjoyable (we love watching the Smoed eps), it's just that CJA's struggles hit closer to home for many. And for those of us who have seen CJA compete for years and witness first hand what a tight ship they run on and off the competition mat, it was a real treat to witness Patty Ann working her magic. I need more Patty Ann-isms!

Yes that's another reason I didn't know how to put into words! It's more relatable for the cheerleaders watching and if people watch it who don't cheer, it portrays a majority view of the sport (not the top teams) - most of us aren't world champions. Most of us don't win 99% of our comps. Most of us aren't asked to sign autographs. Not that there's anything wrong with being that person, but it's easier to relate to a team more like you. And the general public watching should see what *most* of our sport is like - hard work and not always coming out on top - even though the top teams work hard, it's kind of like giving them a fairy tale view where everything ends up happy if we follow winning teams all the time.

Party Ann says so many great quotable lines. Love that show!!!

I'm so excited! Party Ann cracks me up and is an amazing coach.
"You have that look on your face like you want me to embrace you. I'm gonna erase you, that's what I'm gonna do."

Is "Party Ann" a new nickname, I'm not aware of or is it some sort of autocorrect talking? Either way, it's cracking me up. :D

I am happy it's coming back but I would also like to see a different team. Just like the show Cheerleaders I would like to see them follow a different Cali team next year maybe Elite or Coed.

I would love to see it come back my cp and I used to watch it together loved having that time with her. being able to watch something that appealed to both of us was amazing!!!
