I agree! I know that awesomenessTV was bought by DreamWorks and now one of their shows is doing a trial on Nickelodeon so hopefully bigger things will come for it!

I feel like that show, as well as Cheer, really show what it means to be a cheerleader. If these shows get popular enough, they can prove the cheerleader stereotype wrong.

this should just be a show like real housewives. "The Real Athletes of the All Star Cheer World"
they should follow the best of each division (either by top 3 at worlds or the winners from each divison)
so in that case it would be
Cali Lady Bullets
Cali Black Ops
Cali Smoed
Top Gun Coed
Cali Sparkle
CA Wildcats
Stealth Phoenix (aka PCM Phoenix)
Flyerz IAG6
Orange
CEA

that would be kind of difficult to pull off as a show but admit it, it would be kinda of neat to see all this come together and see the differences and similarities these gyms come across!

I loved watching Cheer! on CMT, its such a great show. In the future I'd love to see other teams featured (like the ones suggested above.) It would show how we all work together to accomplish one goal and how cheerleaders don't just 'run around and yell.' We are athletes too.

I KNOW THAT THIS TWEET IS A FEW DAYS OLD AND I PROBABLY SHOULDN'T GET TOO EXCITED OVER IT BUT THIS IS WORTH GETTING EXCITED ABOUT.

ETA: Fingers crossed that Cheer comes back on air in the 15-16 season or something like that!

This is what I thought of as well. They could easily turn each episode into 30 minutes instead of just 10. Add Coed, Lady Bullets, Black Ops, ACES and Sparkle and turn it into a 1 hour show. Give each team 10 minutes. Sorry, but I'm level 5 baised.

I love Level 1's. Especially Jr. Pink at California All Stars in Ventura. They are one of my favorite teams. Don't you think they're the best ?

Hey, all these athletes at Worlds right now had to start somewhere. I'll bet some of them started on a Level 1 team. And you know, your CP is doing great. She's getting the best training possible. All of her efforts right now are establishing a solid foundation so that she'll be the one throwing the Level 5 skills in a few years.

I love your idea of the Real Housewives' format... but what will make this an even better format is to feature 2 teams from a state - like for example: WC: CJA-NJ or Woodland Elite:SLT from Texas or even a smaller gym like Star Viper, whom I saw at NCA and UCA...Wow! How they train, etc... Could make for great television... I think, having more talk with the athletes and their reactions to the competition and training will be good. Another way they could televise cheerleading and the gyms... Like every episode feature a different gym, so they would not need to create drama in the form of the mamadrama, etc (like in the show 'Cheer Perfection')... which I understand can be expensive but I will tune in, even if comes on everyday... just saying

I have to say, I'm sure glad they dropped the "Jersey" from the name. That weird trend of adding Jersey in front of everything - I guess to capitalize on the popularity of Jersey Shore? - definitely did not die out a moment too soon. (Yes, I live in New Jersey!)
