Jody, I know earlier in the thread you mentioned that you had World Championship hopes for Swooshcats at the beginning of the year. Even though they did not globe, they were still one of my favorite teams to watch! Did you count last year as a "building" year for Swoosh? How do you generally handle first-year Level 5 teams at CA as opposed to returning teams?

We do everything we can to treat all of the teams the same. Whether the team name or division is new, it doesn't change much, if anything, about they way we would prepare them.

Just wanted to tell you thank you and your staff for opening your gym to the public (we were general public when we signed up) for SuperCAmp. CP had a wonderful time and was worn out at the end of each day. Your staff was friendly and helpful (as is the ATX staff). I really enjoyed listening to the history of CA.

We were also very impressed by the 'cheerlebrity's' (sorry to use that word) who stayed around signing endless autographs and taking endless pics. They were always so gracious and never appeared to be bothered or annoyed.

Thank you again!

How are the athletes chosen to help with camps?

Bette & Craig LeMay (the camp directors) hand-pick the athletes they feel have the maturity, experience, personality, and knowledge to work the camps.

I was still trying to type: just to name a few Kahuna, Dusty, and Eric made very positive lasting impressions on my girls! Thanks for putting a great camp together!
