I'd also look into coaching high school, or at least helping out. Carolina Forest HS is right down the street from Coastal, as well as Conway HS. Socastee HS (Go Braves), St James HS, Myrtle Beach HS are all also close. I'd get in contact with the school coaches and see if they need any help!

Also, another Gymnastics gym in the area is Terry & Dons, it's right down 544 about 10-15 minutes from Coastal. They used to have an all star team, not sure if they still do now.

A great gym is Rockstar Cheer. I go there and they have an amazing staff and athletes! not to mention amazing teams all through the levels! Even though it is farther up SC, they are a great gym and it would be worth it!
They placed 2nd at worlds this year in the Small senior division! and there level 2 team The bangles came in 1st at the summit and their restricted level 5 team chili peppers came in 2nd.
and the rest of the teams came in 3rd place and one came in 9th!
they also medaled at worlds bronze and silver in the past years! but these were only for the 12-13 season!

There are also a bunch of competitions held in Myrtle Beach - always fun to volunteer/work at those.

Don't limit yourself to just cheer gyms. My son, who hasn't done gymnastics since he was 8, got a job coaching tumbling at a gymnastics gym when he moved to Texas. He loves it. Check out places like Little Gym also. I'm sure they'd be thrilled to have a competent, skilled college student to help out.

There are lots of talented schools in the area. Some of them compete and some of them have competed recently in the past and would probably be willing to start up a competition team again with the proper coaching staff.
