This comes back, I believe, to something I see a lot on this forum - the issues that arise with adults and kids being on a forum together. I'm pretty sure she's on the younger side of life (sadly, I am NOT). So as I read this thread, I have to really keep that in mind. I agree with what you said above, but, again, I have to remember this is most likely a cheerleader and not a parent so the filter of what he/she puts out there is different than mine. Doesn't make it right or wrong, just the differences between what adults might say on a forum vs a younger member.

Your post really sounds personal to me, this is not the place to be airing out laundry and all of your posts just make you look bad. Time will tell what happens with this gym and these kids. A business split is a lot like a divorce and takes time and the ugly comes out of everyone when they take sides. I will take the time to do proper research before making any decisions or repeating any of this gossip. I just find it hard to believe that the gym has been open for 10 years while being shady. If that were the case why didn't the other owner do anything about it? Probably because it wasn't happening and why would they start now? I have so many questions about all of this and quite frankly think that there may be some truth to some it but definitely not all of it. I find when a poster gets so heated and changes their direction of their posts that they are the ones that are shady. Unless you are an owner of this gym it is none of your business what is going on, if you weren't happy then just leave but why do you seem to be on a rampage to take others with you? Bottom line is that this affects KIDS, my guess is there has been many a tear shed over this and that is just heartbreaking. Many choose this sport to find a 'place' in life that they feel safe. You are trying to ruin what little happiness some of these kids have. Shame on you.

I'm confused because I am still not seeing where most people denied what she was saying earlier about what was happening with the team, prior to more and more information being divulged. But I stay away from most other media and it could very well be being denied elsewhere and spilling over here. If that is the case I sympathize with her frustration but still wish the financial garbage would also have been spilled 'elsewhere'.
On a side note, regarding your comments about the families who have now experienced this twice. I wonder how many (if any) families finally give up on cheerleading altogether when something like this happens. Did a significant number of families just completely quit when the Famous debacle aired?

I sure do see Cheer Command at all the name recognized competitions, parents wearing some of the coolest clothes, new uniforms and trips to Worlds, coaches always having a good time and supporting those kids (always got a kick out of watching them cheer their teams on). Just can't believe money is so misappropriated seeing all of those things year after year.

This is so true. And unless you are one of the owners, the info you are getting will undoubtedly be biased and/or twisted depending on who you are getting it from. Cp was at a gym where the owners split and the discrepancies between the reasons for the split what actually happened in the aftermath are huge and still amaze me.

I apologize for letting emotions get into this thing. But at some point you have to let people know you are getting taken. Cheer Command has never expanded over the years and people could never understand why. This is not something that happened over night. As far as being shady the owner has aligned herself with someone that has ruined 3 programs. She owned TCA and closed their cheerleading, owned Heat Elite closed them, had issues at Allstar Athletics and tried to ruin them. Now she is doing it at cheer command. What I posted anyone can look up. If I have to be the bad girl because I told truth about money issues whatever. I wish someone would tell me if I was getting ripped off. You noticed no one said my stuff is not true. Yes maybe I did wants all my fellow cheerleaders to know what was up. Let me know if you think I am wrong in a month.You may be saying maybe I should have listened to my girl. I challenge you to find one girl who hasn't had a money problem at CC while there. I still have many friends there and will hope they don't lose their home, but lets be real now why would all this be happening if something wasn't wrong. Whole teams just don't leave gyms for nothing##

1. I never owned TCA
2. I was co-owner of Heat but I left during a partner split and Heat stayed open another 2 seasons.
3. I was also at Allstar Athletics after my departure from Heat and yes had issues but I never tried to ruin them, in fact they are thriving from what I can see.
And why would I want to ruin Cheer Command? I still have 2 girls cheering there and we are on our 5th season with them! I want them to stay open, I want them to succeed.
icheergirl, you don't seem to know what your relationship is to Generals or Cheer Command since your sources and your relationship change based on the need to 'provide' your proof.

I guess not really denying it as much as the sarcastic comments about "My cousin's boyfriend's sister's hairdresser told me". That's hardly the same as "My friend on Generals told me" (someone directly involved). It's annoying when you're saying something and you get a bunch of
this face and sarcasm, when you know that what you're saying is the truth. If I've learned one thing on these boards it's that 99% of these kind of rumors end up being true. And everyone saying to ask the owner, well I just think that's absurd. When, ever, in the history of Fierce Board, has an owner been asked about these kinds of rumors and said "Yep. All true." Never. Not once. Not in the past, not now, not in the future.I just find we very much cherry pick when it's ok to blast someone's personal business all over the boards and then rip them to shreds for days. Famous - ok. Ztaprincess - ok. Whatever that gym on the east coast with the bus was - ok. Trinity - ok. Sometimes CEA if we're mad enough - ok.
But now all of a sudden it's hush hush.
Second half of your post - I'm not sure. I know a lot of people left Famous saying they were done cheering. Of course plenty just went to other gyms and are still cheering away. I've seen about 4 of my friends end up going back to cheer this season after taking a little over a year off. But all of them are definitely not as into it as they were. Most of them also do another sport now, and are at tiny gyms, and really seem to have lost the passion. Cheer seems to just be something they do now, whereas it used to be their life.
