i think they might have meant CAN instead of can't, which makes more sense..

I think they meant "can't" as in "you can't be underrated if you're new because you haven't been around long enough to have people think you're awesome so it's not really 'underrated' as much as 'not heard enough of yet'. So you can be new or underrated, but not both."

Smoed loves Macs. We were with them backstage at several comps last year and they are the nicest kids and just the best program. We were so happy for them at Worlds

MACS has typically has an unbelievable amount of talent and skills! I am always impressed...also Infinity Allstars surprised me because of their execution!

That's right, they got 3rd at NCA. They were so good and their routine was fierce! Love this team

The talent is spreading all across Canada. Every year it seems like we're seeing more Canadian teams at worlds. Even some canadian teams didn't compete in international open!!
I hope ice queens wins worlds!! I saw a video of the ice queens 2013-2014 and they look fierce! Their tumbling looks amazing!! I can't wait to see them perform this season!!

I would have to agree, Prodigy Midnight is overlooked all the time. I think they surprised a lot if people last year at worlds and I think they are coming back hungry to make their mark!

I think Slate from Stingrays because I really don't hear people talk about them much on twitter, tumblr, etc. They're a great team and got 2nd at cheersport in the small coed 3 division? Under onyxcats, I believe

Not so much underrated as just new. Plus this team wasn't part of "The Majors" because they were knew. Brandon White is amazing. That opening sequence is awesome.
