i live in a beach town.. which isn't exactly north or south Jersey. and i've always been told there's no such thing as central jersey :p so i have no idea what the rest of the state calls it. here, it's pork roll. you order a PEC for breakfast at the bagel store. the pre-sliced packages that you can buy in the grocery store are also labeled "Pork Roll" not taylor ham.

and if we're getting really, really technical... taylor ham is a brand of porkroll. just sayin'

Ocean county raised... definitely called pork roll!

Sspeaking of baseball I'm so pumped at how well the Red Sox are doing this year! I'm predicting a world series win. And for some strange reason my boyfriend likes to call me yasiel* puig... not sure if I should take that as a compliment? :p

*please disregard any spelling errors on his name google will not load for me right now so I haven't got the slightest clue how to spell it

Yasiel is a freakin' beast who sparked the current winning ways they are currently enjoying! They were sucking until the Dodgers brought him up and he's been on fire ever since. So, yeah, it's a good thing!

I know Taylor is a brand of pork roll, but we here in North Jersey (especially Bergen County) call it Taylor Ham, why I don't know, just that it is know by the brand name not the actual product.
