@Underestimated way to get this train back on the tracks

Can't stand waiting 2 months to see Senior Elite's routine I know it'll be work the wait CSP, her staff and SE never fail to disappoint me.

And they should absolutely be given recognition for that - but maybe at the end of the season when they age out and perhaps will have been part of 4 Worlds ring teams. Watching that video makes me think the entire season will be about them. My older cp's junior team one year made the season all about the 4-5 girls who were aging out of juniors that year - yes, juniors - and it was not fair to the rest of the athletes.

i honestly doubt the other SE girls care that there was a 2 second mention of the seniors on the team...

I'm sure you're right. From the beginning I was posting this from a parent's perspective, not the athletes.

I am confused as to why you are making a big deal out of "Fab 5" that flashed in a video for less than a second. The video was not about them...it was quick snipets of the whole team. Most of the close ups were of a sweetheart who is on the team for the first time.

Apparently you are not a part of Cheer Extreme. Courtney always makes every kid's senior year special. This year there just happens to be 5 that have been with her for 12 + years. Is the year gonna be "about them"? Not sure what you mean and why you care. My child is a member of the "Fab 5" and I can assure you she and the other four are gonna make this year about Senior Elite being the best they possible can be....best skill wise and the best of friends! They love their current teammates and their former teammates. Any girl that has ever been on SE whether they are a World Champ or not has a bond that clearly you don't understand.

I am so sorry you feel like your child was slighted on her junior team. I know it hurts the parent more sometimes than the child. You want you child to learn that hard work gets rewarded. That is what I want for mine. And my CP loves her team and her sport! She doesn't sacrifice social outings, school functions and family time for a word flashed on a screen for a millisecond. She does it for her team.

I usually just read and I am not sure why I felt the need to respond to you. I just wanted to help you understand since you kept bringing this up.

I'm just responding to the responses to my posts. I'm not randomly bringing it up. It's a discussion board; isn't that part of what we are here for? We can all agree to disagree.
I was never questioning anything about CSP's love for her team and all her athletes. And I'd certainly hope that your cp loves her team and her sport.

Absolutely we can agree to disagree...not sure what your point was....mine was, if you aren't a part of it you probably don't "get it". Sad that 5 kids are being criticized for celebrating their 12 years of success and friendship.

I sincerely hope your child has a great season and gets everything she works for!

actually, what is sad is that a post can't be made about CEA without the teal army jumping down your throat. There was not ONE comment that criticized any of the girls - the comment was about the way the video was presented. It was a comment, and then the poster responded only to quoted posts and in the end said "I'm sure you are right". Discussion is one thing, but if you are going to respond read before you attack for goodness sake.:chillpill:

Congrats to your CP!!!! I think that's definitely something to be proud of and something to be recognized. CSP always seems to go out of her way to nurture and make her kids feel special. Looking forward to watching you guys this year always quite a show

I don't think she is criticizing the kids at all. I took the post as how would I feel as a parent if my child was led to believe the season was dedicated to 5 specific people and maybe my child doesn't matter even though he/she may have helped those 5 win worlds once or twice.

Maybe this is not the case at SE and we know CSP is not into playing favorites but there are a lot of programs that do.

Sorry you feel like I attacked someone. Not my intention at all. I don't ever want any kid to feel slighted. I just wanted the poster to know that these kids and their parents would never want their teammates to feel that way. We are not the monsters some of you make us out to be. You wouldn't want someone to feel that way about you.

I'm a little surprised that you took my posts as criticizing the kids or even their parents - it was a comment on the video and how the group of graduating seniors was being presented from an outsider's viewpoint, obviously an outsider parent's viewpoint. It was not an attack on CEA, CSP, teal sweet tea, etc. The same comment would have been made had Craptastic Allstars posted a video of their upcoming season and highlighted a group separate from the team.
I will take your last comment as sincere, so thank you for the good wishes for my cp, and I hope your cp has a great season as well.
