The Plano Youth reminds me of the new Cali uni with the sparkle rays they have going on

it's like a leopard print made out of their logo... i wonder how that will look amplified onto a life-size uni? interesting design idea. they'd probably be too "plain" without, but i'd prefer both to not have all those extra straps. the designs have enough going on already that i don't think they need those extra details, but overall i really like both.

i know the Austin one has the V logo - is the Plano one also varsity?

I feel like the neckstraps on the front of the youth uniforms are unnecessary, I mean it's not like its a low cut neckline that you need extra straps to help hold the top up. I feel like it would look better if the front straps were more like a choker/collar type thing. And I kind of feel like they aren't needed on the juniors one but it makes more sense to me on that one.

Besides that I like the designs! Especially the fading rhinestones, I have a weakness for that ahaha

Is the black on the Austin youth/junior mesh? Because I feel like that would be risky placement even for younger teams...

The Plano one looks like a rebel athletic creation to me... they had a similar back style on some of the worlds unis and that's where they get their practicewear, which is what that pattern reminds me of, even though they didn't actually have it on practicewear. But what do I know?
I think on the Plano one the straps are fine but the Austin one looks awkward? But it might not be so awkward on a real uni. If that's mesh then I'm sure the white is at a different angle and it's probably just like that to show, if it is mesh. @krystynakrez

I really like both of the CA unis!

most youth kids haven't fully grown yet, either, which means their shoulders still have not broadened and there is a very narrow space from shoulder to neck. all those straps look like they're strangling them on most younger kids. there just isn't enough space to spread them out.

but they're still pretty. and full tops. and sparkly. so i'm a fan.

If you click on the uniforms in the proshop they are all by Varsity.

Just keep in mind that this was the prototype uniform she has on and the tops will be sized to fit each kid correctly. It's not necessarily KP's top and too small.

As far as the reversible skirt, they will wear the skirt on the black side for YE and reverse it to the white side to wear with the new Jr Elite white top. 2 tops 1 skirt..........to save the parents some $$$$.

The kids on the team love it and really, that's all that matters!!!

I really love the idea of an reversible skirt,but I'm having a hard time figuring out how it works....
Are the spanks not attached;do you flip the skirt inside out?....I'm just really lost on how it works...

I haven't seen it in person with the spanks built in but I will let you know as soon as I do. I didn't think about the spank issue and whether they would work with a reversible skirt. LOL I will ask next time I'm there.

random ?.... is senior elite getting new uniforms this year.
