Okay so I know it sounds cliche & tacky but squeeze ur butt ! Lol I'm like so serious just squeeze it together ! :) & try & lift up like when ur sucking in a deep breath & holding it . Be sure to keep ur butt in & keep everything in a straight line u know like shoulders over hips & kind of hold a hollow body , like shoulders up & hips forward , but still aligned & just remember not to look down & freak out & start waving everywhere & stuff , just be confident . Hope I could help :)

If you're doing a lib try not to pull your hip up because I used to do that all the time and I always fell over! Haha make sure youre squeezing everything too and it will be perf:)

My coach once told me a tip for when flying in lib - put your hands on your knee rather than in a high V. it'll help keep you hollow and if you hold that position, you WILL stay in the air.
Also a reminder, this helps me keep my hips in place. Your foot shouldn't be at your flying knee (if that makes sense), instead. your thigh and torso should make a 90 degree angle.
and never forget confidence - if you go into a stunt with doubts, it will come down. good luck :)

I am too big to fly now but when i did I always had trouble with my ankle. No matter how hard I tried I could never keep my ankle steady. We had a camp and there was a athlete from top gun there. He told me to lift my big toe as high as I could while I was flying. It worked, surprisingly.

With shoes on, practice holding a lib on a full soup can, a brick and/ or balance beam works too. See how long you can hold it. If you have weak ankles, then look into an ankle brace. Don't worry about the back spot.... we can back anything! :)

Squeeze! Everything! Also lift up through your shoulders and keep your bottom knee locked. Stay sort of hollow but not too much. Look slightly up. Spot something on the wall that is slightly above eye level :)

Pretend there's a bar just out of your reach and you're trying to grab it (in a high v ofc!) and that will really help you pull up through your shoulders! I used to wait until the top to squeeze but if you set already tense in your stomach it makes everything so much easier! Be confident and trust in your bases :)

Practice onto a chair (step up on it like your getting into your lib stunt) and practice holding it with out wiggling. When in the real stunt LOCK OUT YOUR LEG!!! If you keep your leg lock your bases can do so much more to help you. Also squeeze your but and don't let it come out! Again tighter you are more your bases can help you. Also keep the lib leg tight to your straight leg. And something I do as a flyer and I tell my flyers is look to a high point on the wall in front of you and stare up at it it will keep you still! This really works!

I'm a base and I've had some flyers who couldn't hold their lib for long too, and it's normal, so don't be discouraged. First of all, pretend there's a credit card in your butt and squeeze it so tight lol. Then, pretend you're being sucked up by something and pull you body weight up. You may feel exaggerated, but it works. And find one spot on the wall to look at the entire time. I hope this helps :)
