Looking through the rules I see a couple of references to a Scoring page

"Stunts are limited to Division 6 Building Skills. Refer to Division 6 Rules and Guidelines under The All Star Games Scoring"

but can't find it anywhere on their site. Anyone have any luck finding it?

Rules were supposed to be released Sept 1st.

I also noticed a qualifier in New Zealand. Any of our foreign fiercers planning on attending? I know it's difficult for many of you guys to draw up cash on that short notice..

As far as im aware All Star Cheerleaders is planning a trip for levels teams but this being planned for early 2015. That date would be far too short a notice for a lot of parents especially those with more than one child on the team. I am not sure about the other gyms who attend that comp ordinarily though (we don't attend twisted comps).

@mylifesaboutcheer - I think you are fairly new around here so let me be the kind soul who steps in before the masses jump in and go crazy.

The "beating the dead horse" emoticon (along with the cow one) is often used on this forum. It implies that the person who posted it has heard enough already or feels a topic has been rehashed too many times. @Cheeranswers is entitled to her feelings and opinions just like any of us are (even including the fact that she feels a topic diacussion is beating a dead horse) None of us should put down another person's opinion or feelings just because they do not mesh with our own. Welcome to FierceBoard.

I do know what they mean, and I am entitled to my opinion as well.

With the separate stunt and tumbling divisions, I get the vibe of a more STUNT and Acro kind of competition. Which I like. Interesting to see how this pans out with the timing.

Just checked out the link. Crossover and age requirements are very interesting. I totally agree with only 1 crossover either +/- 1 level. The age requirement is crazy though. Youth age girls have to be 9 years old and up?! How many youth teams do you know of that do not have girls on it younger than 9? It will be interesting to see how this pans out.

I actually really like that idea I think there should be a bottom age on all of the age divisions

I'm not saying it's bad idea at all, I agree with you. I just meant how many gyms could actually take a youth team with all the cheerleaders being 9+...know what I mean.

the games
The All Star Games was created to unleash Aerial Sports. Gathering athletes from a variety of events under one roof, The Games enables these extreme events to inspire each other. Holding the core philosophy of The All Star Games at heart in each event we:

  • encourage creativity: these are ever evolving sports requiring innovation
  • honor athleticism: precision and technique showcase the practice, hard work, and endurance of every competitor
  • inspire performance: where passion and artistry meld together to entertain and inspire

what i dont get is why all these new events are in april (worlds month) which makes it more shocking that certain teams would commit to this many new comps right before worlds.
