When you make a photo or video and post it in a forum such that someone with internet access can see it, by definition you have forfeited your privacy rights. Prospective and current employees have little to no legal standing when it comes to what employers can or cannot look for on the web. Which is why if you are gonna do those kind of degrading acts, show enough basic sense not to make videos and photos of it. The need to photo or videotape obscene things people do is a sign or extreme narcissism to begin with so it is tough to fully sympathize with someone in trouble because he or she did so. If you want attention, earn it the old fashion way.
Doesn't change the fact that I think it should be separate. There is no legal standing now, but people fight against it all the time. Something will be decided in the courts and some point. Nothing has been a big enough issue for anyone to take it that far or really press for a change. That said, I don't disagree, if you don't want people to see it, don't put it on the internet. Furthermore, I fail to see how videotaping something someone does is narcissism. The need to videotape yourself? Constantly? Because you think you are the best ever? Sure, you could define that as narcissism, but I don't think some random girl videotaping herself twerking (considering it is a huge trend) qualifies as being narcissistic.

Chaperone is spelled incorrectly, but the message is the same!

Funny story about this song.

I was torturing my daughter(8) and her friend(11) several months ago. They thought all my music was bad that I played in the car. So I ran through old popular songs of the 90s.

Thong song was one of them. Not completely appropriate but heck they played it on the radio when I was that age. The 11 year old was embarrassed but my kid was trying to pick the words up and sing it just from listening to it one time. She liked the beat and chorus.

Anyways fast forward a few weeks, we are all out with a big group (whole bunch of cheerleaders) and a girl was trying to walk behind the chairs and kept bumping into them and my daughter says loudly "... YOU HAVE A BIG THONG!"

Well everyone dies laughing!! From the song my daughter gathered that thong was a different word for butt!
How embarrassing... It's one of those funny things you would of had to hear! Lol

Just watching Hairspray...twerking was around long before it had a name!! :)

Now social media and young kids twerking is ridiculous...don't get me wrong. But like others have asked why the sudden interest and increased occurrence of it??

I just thought I should add that I was cheering at an away game Friday and the other team was a well known "inner city" school. Anyway they had a dance team, and their halftime performance consisted of them twerking towards the crowd while the band played "Don't Drop That Thun Thun Thun" So yeah. That was my Friday night.

I experienced that once. A visiting cheer team had body rolls and some booty shaking in their cheers. Even though it was college... Whoa there. Though we did have a lot of people come up to us after the game and say we looked really good.
