If you have any kids interested in Acro and Tumbling the order would be:
1 Oregon
2 Quinnipiac in CT
3 Azusa Pacific in CA
4 Baylor in TX
5 Fairmont in WV
Next year there will be 10 schools including HPU, which certainly would have been in the top 25 for traditional cheer.

Don't forget to add University of Maryland to the list! Especially if your CP is interested in cheering all girl they always give the division a run for their money! Also UMD has an EXCELLENT journalism program if that's a major she is looking at!

Trinity Valley has a great large coed and is a two year if you arent ready for the large university atmosphere just yet as well as the BEST alumni network

. We know a few kids who went there and they said it was the best years of their lives!
When we compared cost of TVCC vs a 4 year school we were shocked. For those 2 years my daughter will have 40,000 LESS in loans than if she had gone to a 4 year school.
We travelled to Daytona this year for my daughters TVCC tryout - We were impressed with their performance but even more so once she got to spend time with them! She felt like she was part of the family after about 30 minutes. I will be sad to see her go off to college but it makes me feel better knowing she is going to be a part of such an amazing program!

I've been working with CHEERSPORT on something that might help everyone out. Next year on Friday and Saturday of CHEERSPORT there will be a college fair held at the World Congress Center. They have 40 spots for colleges. I know all the ones in Georgia I have talked to are interested. Should help bridge the gap and help people discover colleges to cheer at.

Best part? If you travel somewhere to talk to colleges for seniors it's an excused miss.

I love this, wish CP was headed to Cheersport. Would love to see something like this at NCA. Oh how this would help with the number of absences as well. With block scheduling the second semester is a little rough considering all the travel. Great idea!

Sorry I haven't been on the board in awhile, but I do feel inclined to post on this one! ;) KU placed 6th in UCA Large Coed in 2013 and top 10 for the past 6 years or so, plus strong academics, a great campus and town, and the best basketball games in the country! Okay, spiel over - haha - but check us out at University of Kansas Cheerleading if you're interested, and email me at [email protected]!
Thanks,
Corey

Your team and my Kentucky Wildcats are very similar schools!

Davenport University is a small D3 school if she's looking for a smaller University. It isn't really known but has AMAZING talent and won NCA last year.
