Now that it's getting cooler outside and with more night football games coming our high school squad will start wearing bodyliners under our shell pretty soon. As of now we have been wearing our warm-up jackets if it's going to be chilly, but not much since it's been quite hot during the day still here. We have to order a whole new supply of bodyliners, and we are just going with a basic solid color. My mom, who is the "squad supply mother" is doing the ordering. We are 50/50 right now on going with a full gymnastics style leotard t-neck version or the identical looking but half top style. Both will take 1-2 weeks to get here so it won't be too long of a wait.

Sooo, What are the advantages and disadvantages of both for cheer? I've only worn the full leotard stuff for doing gymnastics, kind of want some outside opinions. I'm 1st year cheering.

The crop top. Much easier to function in, and it feels much more comfortable too. We had the leotard style in middle school and I thought it was awful. Unless you are wearing a leo cheer uniform I would always go with the half top!

Crop top! When it's cold I usually layer up under my bodysuit and you can't really do that with the leo style one.

definitely the crop top! so much easier when you have to pee! otherwise it's a pain snapping the little snaps on the crotch of the bodysuit

haha yes that is a pain i do know that from gymnastics, and those don't have snaps!

so next question, we were going to go with our school color for the bodyliner that matches the dominant color in the shell exactly, but some girls want to do white or sparkling silver for a contrasting look. Any opinions on that? I could go either way.

Do you have a picture of both of them?
