I'm 99% sure at this moment they're illegal this year compared to last year. A rule adjustment.

This may have been readjusted again.

If I'm not mistaken. They are technically not a true "flip" since the flyer is already inverted at the initiation of the release. Think of it like a Handstand snap down - Not a true flip. They consider this a "release" move with a 1/2 twist. not an inversion.

Regarding Cheetahs:

Is that front flip from the handstand position to stomach legal? This happens in the pyramid with the 2 middle groups.

Yes, The athletes have already completed the "inversion" part of the skill by getting to the handstand, from there it is the same concept as going from a flatback to prone (laying on the stomach) it just has an extra 1/4 rotation. It's legal because the athlete never passes through a handstand, they start in one.

@BlueCat said that at the moment it is illegal because of a specific wording issue but a clarification soon will probably make it legal.

We are aware of the potential legality issue with the Wildcat stunt. Thank you to those who have pointed it out. Either it will be ruled as legal because of a technicality we have argued, it will become legal from a rule clarification, or we will change the stunt.

I hope it's ruled legal. I really enjoyed their routine.

After i watched and rewatched Wildats' routine, the only thing that disappointed me was that i didn't get to see victoria kill the dance section ;)
The first time I watched, I was following her the whole time so I knew where she was when they got to the dance... And then they just stopped. Hahaha.
And I have to add. I'm sure she didn't go full out in her tumbling, but she has some of THE prettiest fulls.

I just want to say that I'm pretty impressed to see a level 6 team running that much of a routine full out so early in October. We haven't even started our choreography yet. Way to go LadyKatz!
Thank YOU so much:)

Saw people post these videos on twitter, more videos from people that were actually at the debut.
