Stretch, have a strong core, stretch/be flexible, attend clinics, and take coed or group flyer privates. The majority of their flyers have experience flying, even if it was through privates and clinics.
You will most likely be competing against girls who have been tumbling and cheering competitively for a very long time. To be honest it is not realistic. With that said there are rare exceptions, incredible natural athletes that pull off the impossible. Maybe that's you. Good luck!
No info., but I'd follow their social media like their Instagram and webpage. Definitely attend some of their cheer clinics. If they compete UCA or NCA you can usually find one of their competition videos on youtube. That will give you an idea of their skill levels.
Most people get mad and say size doesn't matter at all. Unfortunately that's not true. Height is an advantage in basketball, jut as being tiny is an advanatge for flying. Your daughter might get to fly/she might not. It will depend on the needs and make up of the team. The main thing is...
Technique also count s a lot. The judges want you to hit the routine clean, not just hit and also perform. Either way your Coaches are in charge. Once the team can consostency hit a clean zero, your Coaches will probably add difficulty.
I'd look into junior/community colleges or stunt/acrobatics college teams in you area. Many times they will provide opportunities to learn and grow your cheer skills.
