Actually, there were a few issues with it and I think that's why we don't have that rule anymore. One issue is that as a spectator not familiar with the rules, one could easily think that all that coach tape meant that the athletes were injured. I've had to explain this to more than one parent...
SportAccord seems to think so: Members - SportAccord International Sports Federations and Definition of sport - SportAccord International Sports Federations
Not really, if half of the athletes wore the red top with blue skirt and the other half wore the blue top with the red skirt. No need to cut up all those uniforms.
We've had this rule in Sweden for many years and I think it's great. Partly because it has an effect on how we are viewed from the outside. But a bigger reason is the fact that I don't want small children worrying about their weight or going on a diet to look good in their crop top. There is...
Yeah, I can understand why it would be distracting if someone has an extreme hair color. What I don't get is why the rule doesn't apply to all "unnatural" hair colors, just the ones that aren't your team color. But maybe that's a discussion for another time and place :)

I also take the train to practice, takes about 1,5 hrs. I don't mind, I have things to do while traveling. Though the late night practices are a bit painful, I open the door at home around midnight and with eating and showering and getting ready for the next day it doesn't leave much time for...
This is a great idea, I love dropbox but I've never thought to use it like this.
For my team I just upload videos to our secret Facebookgroup, which is great both for group discussions and sharing videos and other links with just the team.
I you really want to use youtube, perhaps you could...
Voted and shared on Facebook! I would love to have somewhere to put a floor and mats (we practise in school gymnasiums and are stuck with whetever sad excuse for mats they have there).
