Late reply, but yes, the cheer is scored. I coached in Illinois for 12 years and always wished they would require crowdleading cheer instead of the "story telling" style as I call it. Some schools do use signs, megs and flags during their crowd leading cheers. Far more effective in my opinion...

Fact: Gymtyme Illinois was never going to Cheersport to begin with. I know this because my daughter is on a team there. Cheersport was never a scheduled competition for us.

In Illinois, girls cannot compete on both a high school team and allstars. They have to choose one or the other per IHSA rules. A lot of times, girls will sideline cheer during football season and then do allstars when that season is over.

I've looked all over and am probably missing it somewhere, but does anyone know the daily admission price to get in? I'll be in Florida on vacation that week and will attend on Sunday and Monday. I attended last year and it was $25.00/day but I have heard that went up this year.
