And if I am reading correctly according to the FAQ's the same team can compete in the International Division and a regular D1 Summit division if they meet the specified age, crossover, and team size guidelines (16-24 members). The example they give is a D1 Small Junior 2 and the International...
My CP also did two season of Y5 but both of those seasons she also crossed to another team. IMO, this made the lack of competition easier to tolerate since she had competition for her other teams.
My CP12 took a season off from cheer this year to mentally rest and try recreational dance. This was the issue she faced. We tried out a couple studios. One placed her in level 2-3 dance with 6-8 year olds and the other had a beginner Tween/Teen ballet/jazz class for 10-14 year olds. She...
My child was used once this way. I was asked if she would come to another team's practice. I assumed it was because my child had been doing well and was being considered to move to a high profile team in the gym. She was only 7 at the time so I didn't know all the cheer politics.

I just finished The Light of the Fireflies by Paul Pen (free on Kindle Unlimited). For those of you who like disturbing books this one is a winner. It kept my attention.

Such a tease-- lol. Now that I know my roommates kid is on early for Y3-- this probably means my CP (Large C4 and Large 4.2) will probably be performing at midnight. That's been our luck all season. :D
Haha-- that is a good description.
My kid is supposed to be doing an arabesque. Apparently she was just being weird and trying to make things harder for herself and her stunt group. I am still surprised she stayed up both days in this position.

One of my daughter's teams is actually listed in the wrong division so mistakes can definitely happen. My post was more about the fact that most people expect Varsity to update the list with bid winners when in reality it is teams that have actually accepted the bid.
