I live in Minnesota where people strategize on WHEN in the year to have children, so they can thrive as the oldest on the Hockey team. I can definitely see people spending that kind of cash on hockey. Wouldn't surprise me at all.
I wonder if CU has ever experienced that moment when someone tells you how amazing a movie is going to be (and it truly is good), but because it is overhyped SO much, it disappoints in the end.
This announcement had the potential to blow everyone away if it really is that exciting with the...
Agreed! I also hate hearing anyone tell a kid they are "too tall" to fly or "too short" to back. There is no correct height to do any position in cheerleading. It is like a puzzle. You work with the pieces you have on the team to find the best fit for each of them.
Giving a kid a complex is a...
I am REALLY glad to see the division growing, but i disagree about the Panthers. I think they rocked the division! Silver at worlds is no joke, particularly when you look at the amazing teams they competed against.
Being honest....I've alway had a lot of respect for the CA Program, but wouldn't have ever really had a preference certain teams. When I think, my favorite team in ____division is ____. Cheer Athletics has never been on top of mind.
That being said, after Worlds this past weekend I LOVE the...
Nope.
BUT I am sure glad they picked Smoed! I love this team! I just love their routines. Very innovative. I love solid technique and combining elite skills with a new twist. I am seriously captivated by their progressive choreography.
All I was thinking is "there aren't enough waivers in the world to make me comfortable with any of my parents trying to tumble levels 3 skills"
Forward roll....yes....cartwheel...sure....roundoff...okay....BHS..not a chance....Punch front...are you freaking kidding?!?!?!
I think it is a catch 22. If more kids signed up, there would be more classes offered, but it sounds like kids don't sign up because there aren't enough classes offered.
I know people don't often want to be the first to commit to classes, but if more people were willing, or to bring friends...
ha I guess so. They are specialty classes that you can join alone or as a group, to work on technique with more experienced stunt groups. The only problem is, that we don't have the base classes as often, because there is a lack of consistent enrollment. Everyone seems to want to sign their...
I can't make it tonight, but I will be there tomorrow. I've taken advantage of being "kinda" close to home, so I am visiting my family in Milwaukee for the night, then heading to Chicago in the morning.
I have so much to say but I just don't think I could fully articulate my feelings for this video! Well maybe I can...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! yup that covers it.
Sooooooo...I read the article and I have mixed feelings. Like many of you, I really had hoped it would focus more on the hard work, dedication, worlds, skills blah blah blah, etc..BUT it didn't. So yeah, that was a let down. However it didn't make me think any less of CA or the Panthers...
