I miss seeing my girl compete and seeing her with her only friends. For myself I miss seeing the coaches and my mom friends. We have been at our gym 10 years and this is the longest me or her have been without being at our gym.
I am from St Louis and have seen nothing that says Cheer Athletics is being cocky or over confident. I do have to say though that it will be very interesting to see the St. Louis cheer world come tryout time.
I am 36 I asked for Samsung ear pods, a weighted blanket or a Dallas Cowboys jacket
Husband asked for computer stuff and stuff for his 3d printer
Lailaih(cp) 15- asked for makeup, privates and a new phone

I will never understand creating or being apart of drama in anything my kid does. Before she competes I always say to her her "I love you, have fun, be fierce, love your team, love yourself and kick some booty." After she competes I give her a big hug and tell her regardless of how the team did...
My daughters team went to Jam fest and they got 2nd to an amazing team but the way the girls, coaches and parents acted you would have thought they had received 1st place they were over the moon with their placement. Some kids/gyms still value placements.
We don't have an athletic trainer on staff at our gym but we do have a chiropractor who travels with the team and treats anything that she can. I love having her around. I think just knowing she is there gives my Hotmess a little relief, even when she does not need treated.
My girl's team got their bid in December and never lost the fight. They always wanted that 1st place no matter what. I think they always thought they had to prove that they actually earned their bid.
I am not sure if you could count us as a small gym anymore but Platinum Athletics in St. Louis Mo is taking every eligible team to The Summit for the 2nd year in a row. We are all super excited.
