THEMED MUSIC MIXES! I know some teams still do them but they're way more rare now. Back at an old gym, the coach let seniors pick the music one year if she got to pick it all the next year. The next year, Bon Jovi routine. It made me a fan. "This ain't a song for the broken hearted"...

How realistic is it to grow up to own a gym, or coach teams or do any other variation of the cheerleading industry for a living?

just cuz ur on a team one year, doesn't mean the coaching staff is obligated to put you on the next year. If a girl is awesome good at tryouts and in the summer but then starts slacking and doing the bare minimum, why would they get their spot back? Especially if some little runt from jrs has...

I read this after I replied. But yeah, a parent, coach or staff member has no right to be contacting members of another gym during the season to offer deals or certain level teams. That is trashy.
