I've always preferred smaller teams. I think it's more visually appealing and looks less crowded and sloppy.

For UCA, definitely no more than 2 to 3 8-counts. Use lots of MOTIONS and LEVELS. Keep it appropriate, but not basic. Difficulty will score well, and be sure to change the formation multiple times. And make sure it's super sharp
