This is my first year coaching high school and I am having a hard time finding out about local high school competitions. When I look online all I can find is big competitions, all star competitions, nationals, etc.

I feel as though cheerleading is a hard thing to accurately portray without actually experiencing it however depicting an unskilled youth level 2 team as an "elite" squad in the gym doesn't come close to doing it justice. Showing girls doing skills much higher than level 2 (i.e. fulls) implies...
i really feel like everyones underestimating peach.
i think that F5 and panthers are so dangerous because theyre always just raw power...but stars and senior elite always put on an amazing show.
the changes everyone makes from now till worlds will be absolutely crucial. itll probably come down...
i would love to see teams starting to do "throwback" uniforms for the gyms that have been around for longer...kinda like what some nfl teams have started doing
the post performance celebration is one of my favorite parts of watching worlds routines...the raw, genuine emotion is so powerful. idk how they can put a regulation on that...its not like theyre being unsportsman-like or doing anything inappropriate...
im beginning to wonder if warm ups are going to become the "thing to see" as well as new uniforms...since sticking with this restriction means that cheerleaders will be spending more time in their warm ups than showing their uniforms... i feel like in a year or two theyre gonna have different...
as a backspot, its definitely your job to lead the stunt. you should try yelling out what needs to be fixed while your stunting. That way the flyer or bases will be focused on correcting that instead of whatever they're laughing about
we were never allowed to at high school practice. I dont think it should be required, but we should have the option...especially flyers. i just dont understand why not, when we're getting bussed out to a gym or practicing in isolated area; yet the track team is allowed to run around the track or...
