I 've thought the same thing. They look a lot like a Canadian or American squad but they just try and do too much. Thank you all for your replies. I hope they can win someday.
Would anyone who has inside knowledge of the Viqueens be able to explain their 5th place finish at Worlds?
I love the Spirit, and I am happy they did as well as they did, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't finish higher. I could not find their video. If it's on this forum or...
I just watched my second Worlds and I loved it even more than my first. The choreography, bows and uniforms, interaction between the coaches and kids, the parents going nuts, it was all good for me, except for the music.
Before anyone hates me, let me explain; I realize that I don't know enough...
All I have is good. Since I'm a two year newbie, I'm not knowledgable enough yet to complain intelligently. I can't begin to tell everyone how much I enjoyed this past weekend. I had a constant smile on my face, bouncing back and forth from watching all the great routines and reading hilarious...
We are praying for her and her family over on the coast. I hope someone will let the Fierce Board know if the family is in need of anything. I am only 45 minutes away and I would be glad to help.
I looked over the World's schedule and I couldn't find my favorite international team, the Viqueens from Norway. Does anyone know if they will compete or if not, why? Thanks!
The Va. beach one looks like the most famous but there is one in Broward Co. florida and another in Alaska. I'm sure there are more unofficial MT's. This is something I never thought I would see; cheer fans trash talking. :-)
Yes, in east central Florida near Cocoa Beach. Mt. trashmore is a name folks give to landfills in a lot of places. Your trash dump may have been formally named MT , but it is a common term for landfill hills.
That sounds very reasonable and I can completely understand it, yet the quickness of some of the routines make them incredible to watch. Thanks to everyone for increasing my understanding.
You had me second guessing myself, but I went back and checked and the announcer said "From Dallas, Tx, February 27th through March 1st". Those are the dates for the NCA championships.
My bad! It was CBS. Forgive me ESPN!
I was enjoying a recap of the NCA finals this weekend (Couldn't ESPN air them earlier than 7 weeks?), and was somewhat taken aback by what seemed like very slow transitions by some of the top teams. I don't want to mention team names here, but I was wondering if I was just mistaken, being a...
It does! And thank you very much. This does raise a further question though; if American squads compete three times and International teams only compete twice, does that fact cause either the American teams or the International Squads to be somehow upset? I admit I don't know much about...
