I don't know what caused it-- but I can't imagine metallic poms and bright lights don't create the same effect as flash photography. Just my personal thought that I wouldn't take a chance. I also hope they don't catch on. One more thing to lose lol.

That's kind of why I posted--besides the fact I thought they were unnecessary (they are good enough without them) I don't why they would risk a fellow teammates health. I have always been under the impression they weren't allowed. So I thought I'd ask :)

Thanks for the link blue cat! Definitely worth looking at :). I didn't realize sportsmanship could deduct! I know many teams that would lose big with that one!! Now if only some NCA judges read it too. I watched one team that had 2 blatant drops; stepped out of bounds--got a 0 deduction...

Thanks Dani-- love hearing positive feedback about our program! We had a blast this weekend.. the teams competing all did great... huge congrats to Apex in our division!

Surge will be there with our Youth 1 and J2.... excited to see all the teams... Good luck to all that are going and safe travels to those that will be making a longer trek :D....

I don't know whether to curse or thank you all ;-). This is going to be a HARD decision!!!! Hoping we'll be able to come visit a few in the next couple of weeks :D.
