I would find insurance not only for your program, but check the insurance on your practice location and get some kind of certification that carries personal insurance for the level you are coaching.
Cheer is too dangerous to not have the proper coverage.
Just got this in my travel agent email.
Espn and varsity are sponsoring a contest for college cheer programs. You make a 30second routine to a premade mix and are entered to win 100k for your cheer program and a whole team trip to Disney World.
Check it out at www.espn.com/cheermagic
A few things to look into when starting a Rec program that I had no idea about until I started mine.
1) insurance. You need it for every girl, even if they don't stunt.
2) adult help. I know you may think you don't need a lot of it but you would be amazed how much an adult helps. I'm talking...
I believe there is a sideline only competition. Take a look at level 1 though. The stunting and tumbling there is minimal. Feel free to me with any pop questions you may have and I can point you in the right direction.
Here's my list:
Kaepas with snap in plastic colors
Those asics(with shaved heels)
Embroidery...so much embroidery
Double 9s were legit.
Ankle socks. Not folded though
Phony ponys. All the phony ponys.
No mats, just floor.
Recording your music mix on tape
This cdt poly shorts (and skorts)...
Added to SAD FACE AND HUNGER is also a fee per person for missing your reservation. So keep track of your ressies. If you need to cancel do so over 24 hours prior to the reservation or they will charge you a cancellation fee. It's crazy and pretty cruddy.
So.... there is an issue with the system that reads the microchips and a lot of the time they just flat out turn it off because it is such a hassle. I would bring one older mug and try to use it anyways. When we were there in January the whole system was out.
Now it's called the memory maker...
I have UK taking it all... My bracket isn't too messed up yet. M
I really didn't care too much about it, I'm way more into Cubbies Baseball that starts next week.
I cut the shape, iron on the wonder under and then slap it right onto a bow. (Or iron on the Wonder Under THEN cut the shape whatever is easier for me that day...)
Spray glue will totally start to peel. If you are looking to sell the bows I would start using either heat n bond or wonder under, both materials work really well and the one you use is really your own preference.
Exactly. Gotta get the tape lint rollers and expect to go through the entire roll of tape... don't use that Mr Sticky thing, in the fight against glitter it has no chance.
Easy solution, find any arena employee that you see with a radio immediately, tell them and they will notify security. Be sure to give a description, they can either find him in the arena OR find him on security tape and ban him. Don't take no for an answer. It's not that hard to get ahold of...
