Not sure this fits here - but yesterday at the BATC I witnessed a real"Dance Mom" moment between two moms from the same gym! Right out in the hall between team rooms, these moms started a heated conversation that escalated to hitting and three adults had to pull them apart. I can only imaging...

Totally agree that Battle should be boycotted...they definitely allow for some shady practices in scoring and second day comebacks if I remember correctly.

Not going to be popular - but I think the point of the thread is that we cant tailor make National's events so that everyone can claim they win a National Title. Size of gym matters, and I suppose you could do a new gym division - for gyms that are less than 4 years old or something...but other...

They could separate by gym size - small gym is its own division

Actually two girls with injuries - one who just had surgery and one who may need it...so there is plenty of need for practice and I am sure it wasnt as effective as it could be considering the location and the time - I also considered the use of the practice mats as what we got for paying the...

For Twisters - Reign, Weathergirls and Eclipse are all attending both Battle and NCA working hard for paid bids! Lady T's will also be at Battle I think working for that Bid!

F5 was also bonding a bit before awards with Spirit of Texas...they are now known as Spirit of F5! My overall impression across the weekend was one of sportsmanship, even with the competitors in our division. It was so incredible close and I know people were disappointed while others happy, but...

Based on the sound of wonder and awe from the crowd when the light turned on...I think the uniform had the desired effect.

I don't see the team reporting it as shady. They had every right to do it. They don't know the circumstances behind the younger athlete and that it was an honest mistake. They had knowledge and used it to their advantage.

Do you mean if they hadnt competed and had been reported they would not have been disqualified?

Until someone is hurt...How many times do I have to tell YOU...there is a difference between "respect" for the athlete which is what most often happens with the high caliber high school athlete and what these cheerlebrities are doing by creating this situation...and the college and pro teams put...

I did think of one thing the "crazed fan" does finanice and that is the MEDIA...the magazines...most of the highly talented athletes on my daughter's team dont buy them, I'm guessing maybe less than 50% of the athletes in the whole very large gym buy them...but the crazed fans sure do
