It has been a great weekend (though I have only been watching from home, we couldn’t afford two huge comps this season) with a lot of entertaining routines. Once thing that bothered me was that since they moved all the Junior 3 and Peewee 1 and 2 divisions to Monday and end Monday with dance...
Tryouts last week of july, then season starts mid september when school starts. It's hard because we can't practice over the summer, schools are closed and so we don't have practice space. Starting practices with the teams mid september and trying to be comp ready mid november is always stressfull.
I'm not a very physical person, like hugs and all that is not my thing, but when one of my athletes (i coach peewee and junior teams) wants to hug me out of joy because they got a new skill, they hit a great routine or at awards, i will let them.
But it's a short hug, like great job, proud of...
This. I don't understand. I know you have put a lot of work, motivation and/or money into kiddo getting first place trophy. But please take a second to think about, how that makes you look and what it teaches not only bratty suzy, but also her teammates. If Suzys Mom, coach or dentist is sharing...
I've seen a documentary about sexual offends on college campuses and how the victims were getting little to no support when reporting it to the college authorities or campus police [emoji15]
I was shocked.
So, about this tumbling coach/athlete... my brain could play me jokes but i somehow...
Love that it's actually really a handstandposition - wouldn't work in a plank right [emoji6]
Hope to see a lot of these videos over the summer, when coaches und athletes get creative and we get a little preview of what we can expect for competition season
That's not really a trend, but since it doesn't stop, year after year, i will be optimistic and place a wish: May all this salty, bitter, disrespectfull behaviour after "loosing" aka getting 2nd or 3rd place stop on facebook, instagram, snapchat, twitter and so on. By athletes (i don't care if...
I love these hashtags. Just add #futureburnout to it [emoji57] But i guess as long as parents hope they can make some money off off their kids "talent" (real talent or just good marketing by mom), this won't stop
This. I was completely lost with the design for our new uniform, i have no creative potentical at all and i'm so thankful Hannah helped me with the design.
And i love to come here and even just read that i'm not the only coach, mom and cheer obsessed personn in this world with similar problems...
It is surprising that they released a statement, and i have no dog in this fight, but if i had expected USASF to handle this like a governing body should, i'd be dissapointed. I'm not because it's U$A$F and the way they solve problems is with $. It's a clever try, cause i'm sure many of the...
