i feel like i remember WAY back in the day people talking about this and debating over it... (maybe not on here, but definitely in youtube comments once videos were uploaded.) That some teams went/stayed large, cause it was a guaranteed two days worth of competing. And gyms/parents alike wanted...
also want to mention, would they really even consider moving to a smaller venue? i mean the logistics of how crazy nca has gotten i want to imagine they are looking for a bigger venue, or a venue that has more potential to have more competition floors, to make things run smoother.
Unless its...
i could see it going to atlanta, solely based on the convenience of how large the Atlanta airport is as a hub for transportation. Or maybe a different location in texas.
And i think parents and gyms alike would straight riot if it came to florida, ha.
im really un educated about this topic to a certain degree, but what about the countless thousands of other videos on youtube who use music, that probably arent getting consents to use artists and producers music....
i mean is it REALLY about the music??? or is it just USASF, flocheer, not...
yeah i think this has more to do with the economy, then the "its easier to just be on NT and an easier path to gold" excuse.
more people are having to work past the age of retirement due to inflation, people are starting to loss their jobs, rent and housing in a multitude of cities is becoming...
theres just too many divisions at this point, 15 international divisions, plus add small, medium, large, u18, non tumble, open, limited, and then xsmall.
some of them probably could be moved to summit, but.... i cant see non tumbling being that one, its literally the biggest division in terms...
im honestly kinda surprised it took this long for another big name gym to come to florida... I know there are a bunch of smaller programs obviously. But the location doesnt surprise me, orlando and the surrounding areas have seen a massive boom in population, that doesnt seem to be slowing down.
at this point, if the school isnt willing to punish the cheer team as a whole, or fire some of the coaching staff. Then i cant imagine why any school, or cheer program would help them with recruiting in the future. I wouldnt want to send my kid or athlete, etc to a program that cant take any...
I have actually really grown to like the x small divisions, I'd hate to see it go away and go back to being just small.
Gives the smaller gyms to field more competitve teams with the talent they have in their home gyms, also gives the gyms incentive to come to worlds and be able to make it past...
ah ok, i can not keep up with all these divisions anymore. So very much out of the loop, when it comes to a lot. Although i have to say i just think there are way too many international divisions. like why were so many more added?
So now that worlds is over.. thoughts? opinions?
* im also curious is top gun revelation not going to be in the same division next year? read some where that their music alluded to this being their final goodbye or something? or maybe thats just some weird rumor i read after day one.
why is international open non tumbling 6 so large compared to everyone else? ive been out of the loop for so long i cant remember all the rules to being international. I also thought level 6 is essentially the old level 5, so why is there international level 5 divisions?
