Actually no. He said therapy is less effective than medication and when combined is just as effective as medication alone. I have sought out therapy for her though. She will start next week
My CP's pediatrician just diagnosed her with anxiety. He prescribed Zoloft but after reading the side effects I'm a little Leary. Does anyone here suffer from anxiety? What do you do or take to help it?
Yep! I thought they were safer as well but she caught a flyer that was coming down and it ripped her nail back to the nail bed. I took her to the ER and she had to see a hand surgeon. She was out for a week and now she has one UGLY thumb!
She went to the doctor. They pressure wrapped it and said she can return to normal practice in about a week just making sure to be careful. She has to keep the finger covered and protected. He said it'll take anywhere from 3-6 months for the nail to grow completely back.
Hopefully soon lol. Without a step her feet come apart some. I'm not gonna push it or stress her though because she went from needing a step to throw 2 to throwing 5 standing without a step.
Her coach said it's all about her confidence and he's gonna keep pushing her.
