yes when 2 teams are stacked with 36+++ kids and then one goes medium....there will definitely be hurt feelings :(

CP - 15 y.o. 5'4" and 105 pds. A flyer since she was 4 and can hit all her level 5 stunts. Despite being told by her coaches that she has great body positions, is very flexible and can hit her level 5 stunts- full up/double up, tick tock, double down from all body positions, hitch kick double...

Wouldn't that be...saying they are waiting to see skill progression...they will at least be level 3 but may have enough talent to push on to level 4 by comp season...

My CP who has a double and 2 to full and working on standing full...has had 3 injuries....all of which were doing basic skills/ messing around...as a level 5 athlete....cartwheel, forward roll, and stepping off a mat.....I think we need to ban walking and the basics :) lets keep the level 5 skills

Shouldn't the parents and coaches make this decision? My 14 y.o. CP is on an international open coed team and the older athletes on that team have been very respectful. I understand the older athletes have a more "adult" life, but this is cheer practice/competition, not the bar.

My CP has cheered with SOT and they always stood before the performance...but were kind enough to sit during the performance so those behind them could also see.

It could be that I am ignorant on this...but why would a competition intentionally want to give another paid bid...doesn't this cost them $25,000 that they would not normally have to pay out?

I have noticed more recently...that these athletes from multiple gyms are so supportive and have had so much sportsmanship....across the board. So proud of these Cheer Athletes!
