I’ve seen this done befor for several reason. Kids gain and loose skills all through the summer. Plus you always have those one hit wonders that land something at tryouts then are never able to do it again.

PCM has been dying out for the past 2-3 seasons, I’m not surprised. Just confused as to why they waited until after tryouts. As far as I have seen the staff is still the same as PCM, same location, just a new name.
How does this even happen? This gym already had tryouts as PCM, announced teams as PCM, now a week later they are Stars and having a 2nd tryout. Wonder if the parents/athletes were already in the loop. Seems kind of shady to me...
Honestly im not shocked. GSSA/Aloha comps usually don't have great attendance. Now that they are varsity they can offer summit bids and more gyms will come. Great move on their part, only way to stay alive.
