I don't care if you're mad and I don't care if you're being sarcastic, but that third sentence in your message (which I removed from this reply), in reference to children, is uncalled for, utterly distasteful, and has no place on a forum like this. Can you (or the mods) remove it? Thanks.
OBSESSED with Reign! And to the girl in the beginning who does the "rain is pouring down" move--you get extra gold stars :)
I like F5, but I feel like they need more choreo between the sections...like the routine doesn't flow as well (at least to me anyway).
This one time (a looong time ago), after a bball game, my entire team went to a Starbucks still in our uniforms and bows. The baristas were so...startled?...by all these college cheerleaders. We did a short chant for them and they gave us all free starbucks :) This has also worked at a froyo...
By being rude in your own comments, y'all are just invigorating this whole swirling mass of human pain. And yes, y'all are being rude by insulting those teams. I've seen rude statements come from BOTH "sides" and the people who make those comments will deal with the consequences either by their...
Well after HPU announced last year that they were no longer competing at NCA, lots of people left and the only people who stayed were generally the ones had been in Hawaii for a while. Unless they did something, it would've only been a matter of time until their cheer program disappeared...
Kali & Kenny from Stealth Phoenix. They've been one of my favorite pairs ever since they were at HPU. I think they're doing USA partner stunt at ICU this year? Good luck to them! They're amazing!
I hate when cheerleaders keep moving in their spot before the music starts. I see this in all the routines nowadays. What I was taught was that you run out, spirit, wave, hug your teammate, etc., but once you get to your spot your hands are clean to your side (or wherever they're supposed to be)...
To add, younger athletes just need to strive to be better and faster than those who have been around for a while...and a lot of times they are. Look at how many gymnasts from the 2008 olympic team were picked for the 2012 olympic team. None. Just look at how many rookie qb's were in the NFL last...
Well I say until cheerleading gets to reap the benefits of being NCAA sport status, cheerleading should get to reap the benefits of NOT being NCAA sport status. Also, hockey, volleyball & soccer players usually have another level above college (pro, olympics). Sure, college would have loved to...
I remember when HPU used to offer cheer scholarships for grad students. Basically they'd be getting a Master's degree for free and they get to do what they love and they're probably in better shape than their friends...sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me
That's fair. I personally like the design on the capris better than the ones on the compression shorts & power spankies. Those designs are a little overkill for me. I think the issue with the capris is that they don't have their own matching top and so they clash with the sports bras. I think if...
I don't see what's wrong with capris for practice wear, especially if that's not their only outfit. Lots of people work out in capris and it's good to have the option for the colder months.
From Urban Dictionary [with some redactions...feel free to fill it in]
Tea
Used within the urban gay community, "tea" signifies a piece of sensitive and possibly highly sought-after information or tidbit.
Michael: Did you hear the tea about our Judy Dante?
Cornelius: Nah gurra, what's...
Am I a cheerleader for LSU? Nope lol
Do I cheer for LSU? Heck yes in the general sense...I am a HUGE LSU football fan lol. That bama game was so upsetting...not as upsetting as UF being grounded...but still...
