Spirit Cheers Academy All Stars will be having our 2016 tryouts starting June 6th-10th. We are located out of Williamstown NJ (south jersey) where we have full year prep teams and will be expanding to full year Allstar in our fourth season as well! Everyone makes a team, no experience required...
Yeah I would say warming up is important making sure your muscles and stuff are loose. I mean cheer does wear on the body but doing more to prevent that helps so much so the coaches should be warming them up if that's a common theme even in tumbling starting lower and then going further before...
Definitely can't stress this enough! I currently coach at a 3 year old business and it's small but growing. We have a lot of competition I the area though. But last year parents who were friends with the owners caused so much drama and she had to draw the line so definitely best point of growing...

I am thinking of more creative ways to have my junior 1 dismount (they are mostly youth age with only a few junior age). I wanted to try a variation of a cartwheel out where they would essentially cradle onto their sides with the backspot never letting go then cartwheel from there. I think this...
What are the best ways to practice skills and run throughs in order to make sure it will hit when going full out. I know just doing the skills outside of the routine, maybe running everything in one half and then the other and some full outs? Any suggestions that work for your teams skills?
Thanks, was it this season? I don't remember hearing it in their mix but then again sometimes you sing songs and don't realize it
