Yes...BR was 1st in All Girl Medium Advanced! Very excited and happy for them! From 1st to 3rd last year with two nearly perfect routines. 2nd to 1st this year with a much harder routine. Top 4 were ALL awesome! Super impressed with Bixby....not so impressed with their social media posts...
Just found out dance score was 9.8. The top 3 were all great teams but I just can't see how the scoring added up based on the rubric and that makes me sad. Money, politics whatever you want to call it should not come into play when talking about High School Nationals. I get that All Stars is...
We left last year after level 5 awards as well because of the snow storm. We managed to miss most of the snow on the way home and got lucky with a snow day on Monday.
We just heard some preliminary times last night. Looks like our i5 is competing between 1-2 both days and awards are at 6:30 on Sunday. Our SS5 is between 3-4 with the same 6:30 awards. Open is between 11-12 and awards at 6:30.
We had judges comments regarding arm motions in the jump section. Coach scheduled a practice Sunday morning and fixed them...not sure if our jump score went up or not. Doubt it given that our overall raw only went up .2. Just frustrating. I feel the same way about All Stars. There should...
We had some stunt issues day 1, everything stayed up and no deductions but a late body position in one and a big bobble in the second stunt section. Jumps were also sloppy. Day 2 stunts were perfect and jumps looked better. Our raw score went up a whopping .2....the team that won had their...
It always amazes me that all the MA teams go. If you are going to go to a "National" comp go to a real one where you are really going to compete Nationally! Doesn't make a lot of sense to incur the expense to travel to Florida to compete against the same teams you just competed against...
Thanks! We were a little perplexed by the day 2 judging. Not sure how I feel about going back next year  Was a really cool experience having never been there before though.
Our girls had an amazing time. Leaving Dallas a feeling a bit salty and scratching my head a bit but it is what it is!!

This is Bridgewater-Raynham's first trip to NCA. Girls are very excited...they do have a mostly new routine to meet the longer cheer requirement of NCA (stinks that MA rules changed and they do a much shorter cheer now) and just threw full out for the first time the other day  They have...
Rough day for Lady Sharks Sat. Some new tumbling passes busted and they had a safety/legality deduction in the pyramid. Day 2 was better but tough to come back from that many deductions when it's 50/50 :( Loving watching these ladies fight and get stronger though!!! Really hoping they...
