Right! Most of the men on the team were Freshmen, and I think only 2-3 had previous cheer experience. I know they have a stronger team this year, fingers crossed for my Gophers!!

This really bothers me.... It makes it tougher for the rest of the L2 athletes and seems like they're treating this opportunity as a joke. I get it, I just don't agree with it.

Scoring is super confusing! I'm a judge for multiple companies and everyone operates differently. We could talk for days, literally and things would still be confusing. Just make sure if you're choreographing a routine you understand the USASF guidelines and know which company's events you plan...

I disagree. Not every athlete will be a l5 athlete. While I don't ever want to stop pushing my kids to be the best they can I don't think its fair to assume that everyone can achieve that skill level. I think the weekends should be switched for sure, as worlds is obviously a bigger honor, but...

Have you thought about renting in the beginning? I'm starting a new gym as well and we're in that "no money" catagory. We are renting space from a local gymnastics gym through the YMCA at a great rate! Best of luck with your season :)
